 Terms & Conditions

Booking: - Initially a verbal reservation should be made by the charterer of the date required and the number of passengers. This verbal booking will be held for a period of 10 working days only.

Confirmation: - The verbal reservation must be followed up by a deposit. The charterer should telephone the evening before the day of the trip between 1900hrs and 2030hrs to confirm that the weather forecast is okay to sail in.

All bookings are made on a general fishing basis – wreck fishing is tide & wind permitting.

Payment: - a) Deposit - A deposit of £100 for full boat bookings or £10 per person for individuals must accompany the booking, cheques made payable to M.D.Smith This should be sent within 14 days of the verbal booking.

Payment: - b) Balance - The remaining money is payable on the day of the trip in cash.

If the booking includes our bunkhouse accommodation, a deposit of £75 extra is required per night booked.

CARD PAYMENTS

Please note : we do not store any of the account information if paying by Credit / Debit cards.

Credit/Debit cards are acceptable but will be inclusive of a £2.50 charge for a deposit under £100 and £5.00 charge for over £100.

Please note any returned payments from a credit/debit card will incur a £5 cancellation fee.

Cancellation: -

 Should the trip have to be cancelled :-

a)      Due to bad weather or by the skipper for un foreseen circumstances

b)  By the chartering party for whatever reason, with minimum 21 days notice in writing,

The deposit will be refunded in full.

Should the charterer wish to re-book, and an alternative date can be allocated, the deposit can be carried over.

c)       Please note that if cancellation is not notified by the charterer, in writing, at least 14 days before the date of the trip, the deposit is non-refundable.

Holyhead Marina Ltd Guidelines

Holyhead Marina is the North Wales's base of boating leisure for the majority of its users; all our customers are requested to respect the quiet and privacy enjoyed there.

Car Parking

  1. All vehicles are parked at the owners own risk

  2. Cars must be parked on the Sailing Club green or on the cobbled area on the left as you turn right for the Marina

  3. Please park with consideration to other users of the green and the cobbled area.

Children

  1. All children under 16 must be supervised when on the Marina

General Safety  

 5.   No running, wheeled  vehicles, swimming or fishing is allowed on or in the Marina
